Hannah Shaw once wanted her own safari park but now spends her time and drawing and writing about imaginary animals instead. She graduated with a degree in Illustration from the University of Brighton in 2004 and since then has created over 7 hilarious and anarchic picture books such as Evil Weasel (Jonathan Cape 2009), School for Bandits and Crocodiles are the Best Animals of All (by Sean Taylor – Frances Lincoln 2009). She enjoys illustrating funny chapter books too and has won prizes for The Great Hamster Massacre series (by Katie Davies – Simon and Schuster 2010) Hannah is a big fan of taking part in school visits and literary festivals and loves to get out and share her stories and pictures.
