Jo Brown lives with her husband and daughter by the sea in East Sussex,where she can hear seagulls dancing on the roof of her studio.She has worked as an illustrator for over ten years and her background in textile design is reflected in her love of colour, pattern, and handpainted textures.

Jo has written and illustrated several children’s books, including:Hoppity Skip Little Chick Little Tiger Press 2005; Pirate Jam Brimax 2003; If Dogs Wore Clothes… Campbell 2002; Where’s My Mummy? Little Tiger Press 2002; Little Rabbit Goes Out to Play Tango Books 2002
